Mikhail MOZHAISKY obtained a M.Sc. degree in mechanical engineering from the St. Petersburg Machine Building Institute in 1983, an Industrial Property Diploma from the Moscow Institute of Industrial Property in 1995 and is registered as a Patent and Trade Mark Attorney in 1997 and Eurasian Patent Attorney in 1999.
1983 to 1989: Research department of the Nevsky Works; mechanical engineer, later research engineer dealing with designing and testing of gas turbines and centrifugal compressors.
1989 to 1993: Research Center for Ceramic Heat Engines; research engineer working on a project of an up-to-date gas turbine with ceramic parts.
1993 to 2000: International Patent Agency NEVINPAT. Patent agent; Patent and Trademark Attorney since 1997. Practiced in many aspects of intellectual property with particular emphasis on mechanical inventions, utility models, trade marks and industrial designs and related litigation.
2000, joined PATENTICA to fill in the position of a Patent and Trade Mark Attorney.
Mr. Mozhaisky's professional experience covers almost every aspect of the IP protection, including patents, designs, trademarks, utility models and unfair competition. With a background of a practicising mechanical engineer and research engineer, he has gained great experience in patent prosecution in the areas of mechanical engineering, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, electronic devices such as palmtop computers and cellular telephones, as well as in patent and trade mark litigation including infringement and revocation actions, preparation of license agreements, property transactions.
